MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Thank you for visiting the official website of the Nu-Omicron Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. I am honored to serve as the President of this Fraternity for the 2024 calendar year at The University of Texas at Dallas.
The student body of UT Dallas is one that I am proud to be part of for various reasons. The students at this University have a common goal of furthering themselves in their education, career and in service to those around them. The members of our fraternity have exemplified and continue to hold these values to the highest regard and have dedicated themselves to the principles of Fellowship, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service, the four pillars of a gentleman of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
The brothers of our organization have accomplished many things over the course of the last 30 years on this campus. From becoming the first Fraternity chartered here on March 28, 1992, we have now had over 700 brothers come through Nu-Omicron, those of whom have been highly successful during their times here at UT Dallas and beyond. Many of our brothers at UTD are scholarship holders, members of various academic honors cohorts, participate in NCAA athletics, have internships from Fortune 500 companies, and many more accolades. Post graduation, our brothers have progressed incredibly, and many of them are now doctors, lawyers, engineers, and business owners, who strengthen their respective communities and continue to give back to Kappa Sigma because in the words of many -
“Kappa Sigma was the best decision of my life”
The values, principles, work ethic, and not to mention lifelong friendships and relationships built during the years of your undergraduate term are those that you will carry forward with you not for a day, a year, or a college term only but for life.
Our beloved fraternity always aspires to exemplify leadership and brotherhood, which few can equal and none can exceed. Here at Kappa Sigma, we aim to live our lives teaching and nurturing values of honor, humility, wisdom, morality, and, above all else, to be gentlemen.
If you want to know more about Kappa Sigma, feel free to reach out to me at any time.
